    Mercedes-Benz has launched the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Collector’s Edition in India at Rs 4.30 crore (introductory ex-showroom, pan-India). This is the first time Mercedes-Benz has launched an India inspired edition, which takes inspiration from our Indian monsoons. Over the regular AMG model, it’s finished in exclusive paint schemes and gets some cosmetic tweaks to set it apart. Only 30 units of the special edition SUV are being offered in India and it will be available only for those who own a top-end Mercedes-Benz. Deliveries of the Collector’s Edition are slated to begin from the last quarter of 2025.

    In comparison to the standard AMG G 63, the Collector’s Edition gets new multi-spoke golden alloy wheels, an exclusive ‘Collector’s Edition’ insignia on the beading running through the profile and a black plate on the spare wheel mounted on the tailgate with a ‘Collector’s Edition’ badge.

    It is only available in two exclusive exterior hues from Mercedes’ bespoke Manufaktur range:

    Inside, it gets a new beige and black hue and while the dashboard layout and tech remain the same, it gets a customisable grab handle on the dashboard where you can inscribe your name on it. How cool is that!

    Apart from these cosmetic tweaks, the G-Wagon Collector’s Edition remains familiar to the standard car. So you get that butch dominating look and the iconic boxy silhouette. The circular LED headlights, AMG-specific grille all remain the same. Even the interior dashboard layout remains the same with the dual 12.3-inch screens and loads of physical buttons and controls for important functionality. As is the case with the G-Wagon, quality is top notch and everything feels built to last.

    The feature suite is also identical with a 3-zone auto AC, an 18-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system and a sunroof. Its safety suite consists of multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a 360-degree camera with blind spot assist and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) suite with features like driver attention warning and lane keep assist.
