    Maserati inaugurates dealership in Mumbai

    After marking its presence in Delhi and Bengaluru in September and November last year respectively, Maserati has now announced its entry in to the country’s financial capital Mumbai. The Italian luxury carmaker has collaborated with Group Planet Petal and opened West India’s first showroom in the new Taj Hotel at Santacruz, situated in the airport zone.

    "We believe that the Western market with its cosmopolitan and contemporary audience provides a tremendous opportunity for an exclusive brand like ours and Mumbai in particular is already home to some of the most renowned luxury names in the world," Bojan Jankulovski, said, Head of Operations, Maserati India. "The location of the dealership, at the luxurious Taj Santacruz, too was chosen with the DNA of Maserati in mind. We are extremely pleased to partner with Sukhbir Bagga and Group Planet Petal, for Maserati's representation in the country's Western region."

    The showroom can display up to five cars and will showcase the entire portfolio from Maserati’s stable, which includes the flagship Quattroporte, sports sedan Ghibli and sports coupe and cabriolet GranTurismo and GranCabrio. While the workshop is located in Marol, Andheri East that’s three kilometres away from the showroom in Santacruz. It boasts of a 10,000 sq.ft. area, which houses 6 work bays and a parts warehouse, and will service the entire range of cars from Maserati.
