Maruti Suzuki YRA Spotted Undisguised
Production spec Maruti Suzuki YRA version has been spotted for the first time without any camouflage, save for few bits on the head and tail lights. Suzuki showcased its concept version at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and it's the next global hatch for the Japanese automaker which will sit above the Swift worldwide. It is expected to make its global debut in the country, probably this year or at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo.

Suzuki showcased its concept version at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and it's the next global hatch for the Japanese automaker which will sit above the Swift worldwide. It is expected to make its global debut in the country, most probably this year.
As it will sit above the Swift, the vehicle looks humongous seeing the spy shots and it will probably fill the shortcomings of the Swift. Things like rear leg space, boot space along with some additional features are expected to be addressed by YRA. Speaking of the design, Suzuki has adopted Liquid Flow design language with the YRA and it's very much predictable with the flowing waistline and overall silhouettes. The wheels look 16-inchers and there's a subtle amount of chrome thrown by the Suzuki. Moreover, projector headlamps with DRLs and LED taillamps are expected in this hatch along with the Suzuki's 7-inch touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system with navigation.
Mechanically, this car will introduce the Suzuki’s debutant turbo petrol engine - 1.0-liter BoosterJet globally. And it is expected that Maruti Suzuki will offer it in India as well. Other engine options would be the 1.2-liter K12B motor maybe with Suzuki's Dual-Jet technology along with Fiat’s 90 hp 1.3-liter diesel from the Ciaz. Expect high fuel efficiency figures from this powermill.
