    Maruti Suzuki Cars Get More Affordable After Corporate Tax Cuts

    The price cut along with other festive season offers should help Maruti Suzuki boost its sales figures

    While the government hasn’t announced any GST cuts for automobiles, it did announce various corporate tax cuts in a bid to revive the economy. Following the announcement, Maruti Suzuki has decided to extend an added discount of Rs 5,000 on most of their model range on top of ongoing offers this festive season.

    The new offer extends to all variants of the Alto 800, Alto K10, Celerio, Ignis, Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and diesel variants of the Swift, Dzire, Dzire Tour S and Baleno. The revised ex-showroom prices will be applicable from 25 September 2019 onwards. However, the WagonR, Ciaz, Ertiga, XL6 and petrol variants of select models won’t be enjoying the added discount.

    Here’s the revised price range (ex-showroom Delhi) for the discounted models:

    Rs 2.89 lakh to Rs 4.09 lakh

    Alto K10

    Rs 3.61 lakh to Rs 4.40 lakh

    Celerio

    Rs 4.26 lakh to Rs 5.43 lakh

    Ignis

    Rs 4.74 lakh to Rs 7.10 lakh

    Swift (diesel)

    Rs 6.98 lakh to Rs 8.84 lakh

    Dzire (diesel)

    Rs 6.67 lakh to Rs 9.53 lakh

    Baleno (diesel)

    Rs 6.69 lakh to Rs 8.68 lakh

    Vitara Brezza

    Rs 7.63 lakh to Rs 10.38 lakh

    S-Cross

    Rs 8.81 lakh to Rs 11.44 lakh

    *Maruti’s fleet offering the Dzire Tour S’ diesel variant will now be priced at Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

    Maruti is amongst the worst affected by the ongoing downturn in the automotive industry with year-on-year sales reflecting the declining numbers. These discounts and incentives are all part of the carmaker's attempt to try and revive demand.

    I booked Celerio on 20 sep & was billed on 21 sep yet not delivered.will the additional 5000 discount be given to me by dealer.
