Mahindra XUV500 Sales Cross 1.5 Lakh Mark

Mahindra Mahindra Ltd. (MM) has announced that the company’s XUV500 has achieved a feat of 1,50,000 unit sales including exports. The Cheetah inspired SUV has crossed the milestone in just four years after it was launched in September 2011.

The 100% indigenous vehicle was able to make use of the Mahindra’s world-class research and development facility at Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai. Since launch, the automobile has given an elated performance by adopting updated safety features.

The achievement for the company comes at a time when Scorpio, another Mahindra's SUV, achieved 5 lakh cumulative sales recently.
