The company claims that it has received more than 6,500 applications for 280 positions to support a multi-billion pounds investment plan for new products. These graduates will be recruited for various roles from product development engineering, manufacturing, finance, human resources, marketing, IT and purchasing.

Tata Motors recently made an announcement regarding 1 billion euro investment (over 6,100 crore) in JLR. The report also reveals that along with Range Rover Evoque, the company will also launch its frist ever diesel hybrid sports utility vehicle by 2013. Jaguar introduced the electric concept car last year which runs 900 km in a single charge at an unmatchable speed of 320 km per hour. JLR earned a profit of Rs 1,958 (after tax) last year.
