Jaguar E-Type named greatest ever road test

Jaguar E-type one of the most magnificent car which is ruling the hearts from last 50 years has been termed as the greatest ever road test by a popular magazine celebrating its benchmark of 5000th road test. While honouring the Jaguar E-type the test team was praising it for its features, power, design stating that it stands out in comparison to the other cars.

Ian Callum, Jaguar Design Director said that Jaguar E-type has been termed as one of the best car in handling and designing in 1960's and 70's and it seems that the company is still able to maintain the magic. This is an honour to Sir William Lyons and Malcom Syare the British icon and testament. Jaguar E-type design is a landmark. He also added that Jaguar XKR-S has helped the auto company in carrying forward its tradition.

Jaguar to embark the celebration of its anniversary has represented a 'Collectors Edition' a coffee table book which entitles “E-Type -50 Year of a Design Icon”. The book index the story of the luxury and stylish car or takes on the opinions of various British racing car drivers who have had a privilege of either owning one or once had a hand on experience on Jaguar E-Type.

Sir Stirling Moss said that the XK120 was one of the most astonished cars of its time after war but when Jaguar E-Type landed it stunned every one. The car is extremely special and is still looks the same. The Jaguar makers still stick to the rules and coming from the same clan it adorns all its cars with luxury, style and elegance.

Martin Brundle, one of the owners of a super savvy and stylish red colour Jaguar E-type said that this car is one which can still keep up with the this era road condition. Even now it can run happily for 500 miles without any problem. The car has always looked pretty but with times it has managed to look much better. He also said that it is much better when the car passes by and the passersby turn their heads to catch a glimpse of the stunner.

The book stores many such experiences from different owners and the British car enthusiasts. The coffee table book is available in two formats, these are limited VIP volume edition and premium version. The VIP book is specially commissioned which is a reproduction of Jaguar E-type's upholstery being used and given in its own slipcase.
