Hyundai officially teases the ix25 compact SUV
The South Korean brand, Hyundai, has officially revealed a teaser image of their much anticipated Hyundai ix25 compact SUV ahead of its debut at Beijing Auto Show. The official image of the SUV reveals a lot about its styling and design. Although unofficial, the media reports suggest that the new ix25 compact SUV will be powered by a 1.6-litre and newly developed 1.4-litre petrol engines, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.

Inside the cabin, the compact SUV gets a central console with basic audio controls, vertically designed AC vents with silver accents and climate controls which are placed below the music system. The top of the line model is expected to get a large touchscreen infotainment system, automatic gearbox and leather seats. It also features leather wrapped steering wheel with audio, cruise and phone control functions.
Based on next generation Hyundai i20, the compact SUV will be developed in China and we expect it go on sale by the end of this year. The car will go up against Ford Ecosport and the segment leading car, Renault Duster.
