Hyudai to launch new Tucson at Rs 18 lakh?

Hyundai India which is synonymous as a small car manufacturer in India is planning big this time with a premium offering in hand. Looks like the Korean car manufacturer will bring the new Hyundai Tucson next month itself to improve its presence in the SUV segment. Hyundai Tucson which is marketed as Hyundai ix35 globally is placed right under its other premium SUV Hyundai Santa Fe with a 20% lesser price. This will more or less translate to Hyundai Tucson price of Rs 18 lakh in the Indian market.

Well, there is ample competition in this range which is literally dominated by Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner in the premium SUV segment. But it is the style factor that is likely to leave the Indian consumers spell bounded if Hyundai Tucson will carry the same looks of the ix35 sold in the international markets. The Hyundai ix35 carries the appeal which is nothing but a visual delight to the eyes.
