Honda India is offering a lucrative discount of Rs 70,000 on Honda City even when the facelift of Honda City is on the cards. The strategy is adopted by Honda India to clear the existing stocks of Honda City which can pave way for sales of Honda City facelift. Honda City priced at Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for base E MT model is already a great value-for money proposition. The straight cash discount till the stock lasts will see a surge in sales of the sedan in the ongoing festive period.

Talking about the Honda City facelift, the new sedan will undergo cosmetic changes with almost no changes in the engine specifications. Honda City facelift is expected to house the same 1.5 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine delivering 118 Bhp power.
