Honda City sales improves in July
Good news for Honda fanatics! After long struggling months for Honda Motors, it has finally seen a ray of hope. Honda City, which tumbled down to a lower position in the past few months, came back absolutely confident and strong last month. Car sales of Honda City in July was very impressive, it managed to sell 4,092 units in the last month, which helped it place on the 2nd position just below Hyundai Verna (4,724 units).

Last few months, Honda Motors was facing a bit of a hard time. And this hard time made Honda to lose its top position. The major reason behind the tumbling position in the Indian car market was its rivals were offering better products at the same or lower costs. Maruti India came up with Maruti SX4 diesel, Hyundai came up with Hyundai Verna Fluidic, and these sedans literally grabbed Honda City sales.

On the other hand, Hyundai Verna Fluidic is being offered in both diesel and petrol version. However, the price slashing strategy also worked for Honda, but still seeing the market condition diesel engine is a must rumor has it that it has already began to work on the diesel engine.
