    Honda City facelift spotted

    The new avataar of the Honda's flagship, Honda City was caught undergoing test drive recently. All speculations about Honda launching the facelifted version of City sedan after slashing its price hence came to an end as the new looks of 2012 Honda City were scooped. As per the spy shots, new Honda City specifications the soon-to-be launched version is likely to carry the same engine i.e. a 1.5 litre i-Vtec that generates a power of 116 bhp. However, the interiors and exteriors will be modified in the new Honda City.

    The new design showcases a changed rear and front bumpers. Grille has been restyled with chrome leading edges same as Honda Accord. New set of alloy wheels, side-view mirrors and tail lamps adds to the newness of the car. The high-end variant i.e. the ‘V’ model will hopefully be equipped with a sunroof on the top. The changes in the interiors were not distinct but the Honda must have played with them too.

    Recently Honda City has claimed its ace position in sedan sales in Indian market. As the company is busy with the late month launch of its new hatchback Honda Brio, officials are tight-lipped about the launch of this facelift version of Honda City.
