Ford India hits 200,000 Sales Milestone with EcoSport
In two years of its introduction, Ford EcoSport has achieved the 200,000 sales milestone in both domestic wholesales and exports. Currently, there are more than 112,000 Ford EcoSports on Indian roads. It earned most number of accolades within a year of its introduction by earning more than 30 awards and is the highest selling compact SUV of India. Further, it topped the J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study (IQS) 2014 in SUV segment.

The journey of EcoSport commenced with an extremely positive response from Indian customers. The car received a record 60,000 bookings within 30-days of introduction. The Chennai-made SUV is conquering its customers around the world with its robust drive dynamics, exemplary performance, smart technology and compelling value proposition.

Technology offerings on the EcoSport were enhanced by Ford in February with the introduction of SYNC with Ford AppLink. Be it picking a restaurant or checking up on cricket scores, it can be done with the help of Ford AppLink, through its compatible smartphone applications.
