Ford Focus revealed for ASEAN region
Ford finally unveiled its much stylish sedan, Ford Focus in Thailand for ASEAN region. The launch of this sedan will be done by the end of 2012. The new Ford Focus will be offered in two engine options, one will be the powerful and dynamic 1.6 litre engine producing 125 PS of power and the other one would be 2.0 litre of petrol engine producing 170 PS of peak power. Besides making the new Ford Focus extremely sound in terms of its technical specifications, Ford Motors has also taken care of the convenience of the consumers. This premium sedan has been well-equipped with features like Active City Stop (collision detection system), Active park assist, Ford SYNC, smart keyless entry accompanied with power start and Blind Spot information system.

Few of these features are also seen in Ford Fiesta being sold abroad. Ford Motors have been selling this 3rd gen Focus sedan in USA and Europe since last two years now. Ford Focus will be built and developed at Ford’s brand new plant worth 450 million USD located in Rayong, Thailand. Hopefully, the kits of Ford Focus might reach Chennai Plant or to Sanand plant from Thailand by 2013, so that the company could trigger the manufacturing and launch in the Indian car market soon. However, there is no official confirmation from Ford India regarding Ford Focus launch in India.
