Ford EcoSport Details Leaked
Ford EcoSport compact SUV is unquestionably one of the most awaited vehicles of the year, and the company has been branding the product so well. Amidst all the speculations around about the no. of variants EcoSport will have, guys at The Automotive India have managed to bring out the variant-wise features list for the India bound EcoSport.
Ford EcoSport will come in a total four trims- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium optional. While the Ambiente and Trend trims will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel or 1.5-litre petrol engines along with the 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The other two EcoSport Titanium and Titanium optional can be availed with a 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine along with the aforementioned engine options. So, expect the Titanium and Titanium optional to come up with three engine options. The 1.5-litre petrol engine powered top-end variants will also be made available with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Ford EcoSport Ambient- Since it will be the base variant, so it will come up with limited features like manual air conditioning, manual rear windows, Bluetooth audio system with USB and AUX support. However, it misses the safety features like ABS, airbags and other important ones.
Ford EcoSport Trend- Along with the features offered on the Ambient variant, the EcoSport Trend will have safety features like ABS, EBD. However, it lacks airbags. Other features include front rear power windows, body colored exterior mirrors, rear defogger+ wash/wipe, 60/40 rear seat split, rear parcel tray , steering mounted audio controls and height adjustable drive seat.
Ford EcoSport Titanium- In addition to the features offered to the Trend variant, the EcoSport Titanium additionally sports 6-speed PowerShift Automatic transmission (with 1.5-litre petrol variant), Leather steering, 16 inches alloy wheels, automatic AC, Sync system, roof rails, front armrest, cooled glove box, front fog lamps, drive seat lumbar support, dual airbags, Reverse parking sensors and chrome exteriors, making it an an more feature rich trim than the Ambient and Trend.
Ford EcoSport Titanium Optional- This variant is a fully loaded one that has lot to offer to its buyers. In addition to the features offered to the Titanium variant, the EcoSport Titanium Optional additionally has leather seats, push button start, keyless vehicle system, side curtain airbags.
