Ferrari in India officially: Opens Dealership in Delhi.
Its official now, the prancing horse Ferrari is now in India. With this, India has become the 58th country in the world that has a showroom by Ferrari. In India the Ferrari was unveiled at the first in India showroom at Janpath in New Delhi owned by the Mumbai-based Shreyans Group which is also the official dealer of Maserati and Ducati bikes. Ferrari has launched four of its GT Range Ferrari road cars in India including Ferrari California, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and Ferrari FF. The Ferrari price in India starts from Rs2.2 crore onwards. The Ferrari California Price in India is Rs2.22 crore.

Reports have also come in that after Delhi, Italian luxury sports car maker would be heading to Mumbai and would be opening its dealership there soon. Initially the Ferrari cars will be imported and reportedly over 24 Ferrari cars have been allotted for import in India out of which 14 have already been booked till March 2011. Ferrari cars in India would be available on order and customers have the option to customize it according to their taste. Entire Ferrari cars range will be available in India and bookings have commenced with immediate effect.

However, delivery of Ferrari cars in India could take from 3-12 months depending on the specifications and the level of customization. The Shreyans Group would be the official importers of Ferrari in India. The Ferrari India Mumbai outlet is expected to come up by 2012 while it is also said that the other cities may get a dealership based on demand there.
