Disruption in parts supply continues to impact Honda sales in Dec 2011
The disruption in supply of components due to the Thailand Floods continues to affect the production at Honda Siel Cars India impacting its sales in the month of December 2011. HSCI has been operating under severe production constraints since last two months due to the shortage of components. Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President – Marketing & Sales, Honda Siel Cars India said “Our production for the December month was curtailed due to the recent impact of the Thailand floods. As a result of our efforts towards recovery, we will start stabilizing the production of the newly launched City from this month and will begin its deliveries”.
