    Datsun GO+ MPV: Technical Specifications & Brochure Revealed

    Datsun has finally revealed the technical specifications as well as the official brochure of its magnum opus MPV GO+, which will also make its way to the Indian car market. As we told previously, Datsun will be selling both the GO models, GO hatch and GO+ MPV, directly through Nissan Motors dealerships in India. It is now confirmed that both these products would feature Nissan Micra's 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, 12-valve, petrol mill which will be tweaked a little bit to facilitate both these vehicles.

    The official brochure further reveals that the MPV GO+ will weigh only 794 kgs and it would be 5+2 seater vehicle. It would have a monocoque body construction and its length, breadth and height would be 3,995mm, 1,635mm and 1,500mm, respectively. The 1198 cc petrol mill would belt out a maximum power of 67bhp and a peak torque of 104Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gear box. Additionally, it would have a wheelbase of 2,450mm which would make it adequately spacious inside.

    The brochure also divulged information regarding the braking system and wheels. Datsun has incorporated Ventilated Discs as the front brakes, while rear brakes are Drum type. Datsun GO+ would have a tire size of 155/70 R13 and steel wheels of 13 inches, which would be accompanied well by the dynamic wheel covers. Datsun has provided seat belt for every passenger sitting in the MPV; 3-point ELR seatbelt for front and middle row, while 2-point ELR seatbelt for the thrid and last row.

    Datsun GO+ will be offered in five eye-catching colors - Reddish Gold, White Solid, Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic and Black Solid. However, Datsun hasn't revealed the pricing of this sub 4-meter, compact MPV yet, but it believed that it would be priced near Rs. 5 Lakhs.
