The compact, stylish and peppy Ecosport is about to face some Korean rage starting from the coming 21st of July. We are not talking about any war, but that rage is going to be from Hyundai’s Creta that everyone is eagerly waiting for. And what led us to think in this way is because of the following reasons.

Style!

Following Hyundai's new design language - Fluidic Design 2.0, there are a whole lot of stylish vehicle in the current portfolio. Creta flaunts the same, which lets it project those striking looks that encase projectors headlamps, a stunning front, a dynamic side profile with 17-inch diamond cut alloys and a rear that is as sporty as it gets. But, EcoSport too is not short of the looks as it still carries its young charm.

Space! Not a Problem For Creta

Space is something that EcoSport misses out as, unlike Creta, Ford has kept it below 4 meters. Hyundai Creta measures somewhere around 4.2 meter that inevitably liberates more space on the inside. Also, Ecosport’s backseat gets cramped when occupied by three people, this won’t sum up in Creta because of its wider body. Other than this the insides of Ecosport are equally stylish with the contemporary blitz and will match up well with Creta’s inside.

Runabout-ness!

Despite Ecosport 1.5-L TDCi's 91 bhp, it is not something you will call slothy, thanks to the lesser kerb weight. Power comes with a delay, but it stays there as long as you want it to. Then there is Ford’s bang on chassis and suspension setup that enables Ecosport stay in its elements even if you push it hard! Moreover, it gets even exciting with the 1.0-litre EcoBoost motor that produces 125 bhp. To counter this Hyundai has its 1.6-liter CRDi motor that is one powerhouse of an engine with around 127 bhp at your disposal. To further boil up things, it will be offered with a 6-speed automatic, making it the only diesel automatic in the segment.
