Chevrolet Orlando spotted during test run

The Chevrolet Orlando test mules have been spotted doing test runs around the world. The Orlando is a 7 seater MPV based on the same platform as the apna Chevrolet Cruze Sedan.

The Cruze’s 2.0L, 150bhp CRDI diesel engine will be powering the Orlando and a hybrid version will follow soon. There will also be petrol engines on offer, a 1.6-liter and 1.8-liter/turbocharged are expected to do the job.

The spy pictures suggest that the car doesn’t look as striking as the concept did when it was first showcased at the 2008 Paris Motor show.

The car will not be sold in the American Market, but it is expected to make its European Debut in the second half of 2011. We are very sure that at some stage of time the Orlando would also be making it to the Indian roads. This could very well be Chevrolets answer to the Toyota Innova.

hello sir, i have the business of petrolpums, and my petrolpumps is loctaed opposite of General Moters, i inquired from general moters that they will launch their new MUV chevrolet orlando,i that connection i inquired from company.but from company say they may not launching that Orlando muv. so i request to u it true that company will launch that vehicle or not ? ? becuz i waiting and would like too much interest to purchase orlando. so plz inquire properly from GeneralMoters Company will sure launch Orlando in 2011 or not.or may not launch in india. plz reply me waiting for reply
