Just one more day, and the Indian market will have General Motors' first MPV Chevrolet Enjoy, which will compete against the popular Maruti Suzuki Ertiga in India. The company has already started the online and TV promotion for the car, and has also revealed all the features the car will have on the Chevrolet India's official website. The only thing that is yet to be revealed is the pricing, and if rumours are to be believe, it will be priced lesser than the Ertiga.

The car was first premiered at the 2012 Indian auto expo, and the launch plans of the car kept on delaying. It was said to be launching with the Sail Sedan, but the company probably wished to keep its focus on Sail, and that's what worked in their favour. Sail Sedan has been doing great for the company.

The Enjoy MPV will be launched both in the petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol model of the car will carry a 1.4-litre mill, which promises to produce 103bhp and 127Nm of torque. While the Chevy Enjoy diesel will have the 1.3-litre Multijet engine, capable of producing 77bhp and 200Nm. The transmission for both diesel and petrol models will be a five-speed manual transmission.

When it comes to looks, the Enjoy MPV doesn't look as good as the Ertiga, however more space and decent engine options make the car a worthy one. And if it is priced around Rs.6 lakh, the car will be a great value for money product.

The Enjoy MPV is likely to come a 7 seat and a 8-seat versions. While the 7-Seater Enjoy MPV will have 4 captain seats and a bench styled third row, making it pretty comfortable for its occupants. The 8-seater will have two captain seats, bench styled second and third row seats.

We will write about the car in detail tomorrow after its launch. Stay tuned to CarDekho, cheers!
