Chevrolet Enjoy MPV Launched at Rs 5.49 lakh, Diesel at Rs 6.69 lakh

General Motors India has finally launched its first ever MPV, Chevrolet Enjoy in India at a starting price of Rs. 5.49 lakh. Launched in both petrol and diesel engine options, the Enjoy MPV has been made available in a total 3 trim levels- LS, LT and LTZ with three diesel and three petrol variants. While the Petrol version is priced between Rs. 5.49 lakh to Rs. 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the diesel variants will cost between Rs. 6.69 lakh and Rs. 7.99 lakh. And like we reported earlier, the Enjoy MPV has been launched in both seven and eight seat versions, however only the base trim Enjoy LS (Petrol and diesel both) will get the eight-seat model.

Chevrolet Enjoy MPV

At this price, Chevrolet Enjoy proves it to be a good value for money product. It's however is smaller than Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Nissan Evalia, it certainly is larger than its closest rival Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. In terms of looks, the Enjoy MPV isn't however as impressive as the Ertiga, it scores more in spaciousness and features. The vehicle comes with features like anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), dual front airbags, air conditioning, drive seat height adjuster, stereo and others, making it a feature rich car. However, many features will be offered on the top-end Enjoy variants only.

While the Seven seat version has four captain seats, and bench styled third row seat, making it a very comfortable car for 7 people. The eight-seater Enjoy MPV has two captain seats and third and fourth seats in bench style.

Chevrolet Enjoy MPV

The engines are Fiat's 1.3-litre multijet (co-developed by GM) and 1.4-litre petrol engine capable of churning out 77bhp and 103bhp respectively, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. When it comes to mileage, the Enjoy Petrol returns 13.7kmpl of mileage, while the Enjoy diesel returns an impressive 18.2kmpl of mileage.
