The launch date of the most awaited zippy hatchback by the General Motors' Indian subsidiary, Chevrolet has finally been revealed. Chevrolet will finally be launching Chevrolet Beat Diesel on July 25, 2011 in the domestic auto market. Chevrolet Beat was launched last year in the Indian auto market and ever since it has been a huge success, the car helped in outpacing the company's sales in India.

Chevrolet envisages to rev up its sales with the diesel avatar of its most saleable hatchback in India. Chevrolet Beat Diesel is expected to be tagged at Rs 4.3 to Rs 5.4 lakhs, adding on to the brownie points of the hatchback powered with a frugal diesel engine.
