Chevrolet Beat Diesel one of the most awaited small car from the General Motors will be launched in the middle of the year 2011. The engine specifications of the Chevrolet Beat Diesel have not been released officially. It is expected that, the Chevrolet Beat Diesel will be powered by 1 liter rail diesel engine. There were rumors regarding the Chevrolet Beat Diesel that was to be developed by the Development and Research Center which is in Bangalore. However it is cleared that the diesel small car engine is manufactured at Torino Engineering and Development Center of the General Motors is the place where the 1 liter diesel of the Chevrolet Beat Diesel has been developed. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel engine production will start from the month of June, 2011. It showcases that the production of the engines might be delayed by a month.

The Chevrolet Beat engine specifications has not been declared. The engine is expected to have a maximum torque of 140Nm at the rate of 1750rpm. The maximum power that is expected to be released by the Chevrolet Beat Diesel will be around 57BHp. The car is expected to provide a maximum torque of 100Nm at the rate of 1250rpm.
