BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport Edition Launched at Rs. 75.9 Lacs

The German automaker BMW has launched a special edition of its X5 SUV at the ongoing 2016 Indian Auto Expo. The edition has been released under the moniker BMW xDrive30d M Sport and has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 75.9 lacs (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new car will be placed between the standard BMW X5 and the much more performance-oriented BMW X5 M. As this is an update of the standard X5 SUV, one can find tweaked aspects both on the outside as well as on the inside of the car.

The exteriors of the car come with BMW’s M Aerodynamic package, in addition to 3 exclusive colour schemes. Also seen on the car are the BMW M light alloy wheels, Chrome accents on the tail pipe, M-specific vehicle key and high gloss Shadow line.

Coming to the power plant featured by this sport SUV, the BMW X5 xDrive 30d M sport features a 3-litre TwinPower 6-cylinder diesel engine, which is capable of delivering 258 bhp of power output and 560 Newton metres of peak torque. The powerplant comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which also features steering mounted paddle shift controls and obviously the SUV comes with BMW xDrive all wheel drive system, as standard. This helps the car achieve a 0-100 kmph acceleration time in under 6.9 seconds and the top speed is limited to 230kmph.

The updates continue on the inside as well and the xDrive30d M’s cabin features a heads up display, 3 spoke steering wheels which is wrapped in leather, in addition to all the creature Comforts which come in the standard BMW X5, including the 600 watt 16 speaker Harman music system.
