Audi to Unveil Q2 Concept in September
Audi has recently been in the news for the soft-launch of their Q3 which seems to be doing exceedingly well in terms of sales. And now Audi is already working on unveiling their latest concept car; the Audi Q2 in order to completely dominate the remaining luxury crossover market. The company has decided to showcase this crossover concept at the next Paris Auto Salon in September, 2012. The Audi Q2 concept will be based off the A1 platform.

This means that by correlation it will be a descendant of the Volkswagen Polo which was the basis for the A1. Another interesting fact about the Q2 is that it will get its styling form the Quattro concept and will feature several additions to levitate it above the A1. The questions that remain however are weather the Audi Q2 will come to India? And how much effort will it take for the Four Rings to localize the Q2’s production in India? The answer to the first question is unsure, but considering that Volkswagen already has the Chakan plant near Pune, this should be no big task for the German auto-giant.
