 March 01, 2016: Audi has showcased the its new crossover Q2 at the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The car will be placed below Audi’s Q3 compact sedan. Q2 is expected to go on sale in European countries soon and might make its way to India sometime in 2017. As far as the aesthetics are concerned, Q2 flaunts a styling approach through its front fascia, which is highly reminiscent of the R8 sportscar. The coupe-like roofline and contrasting C-pillar colour scheme bestows Q2 with a very sporty appeal. Powering the petrol variants of the Q2 are the 1.0-litre, 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre TFSI petrol powerplants and undertaking the duties in diesel variants will be a 1.6-litre mill and a 2.0-litre diesel powerplant. The 2.0-litre mill will be available in two states of tune.

Audi Q2 in Pictures: A New Youthful SUV from German Carmaker

Audi has at last pulled the cover off its upcoming compact SUV, the Q2, at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle has grabbed a position for itself below the Q3. Though, the car will only be on sale in the European countries, but will eventually make its way over to the Indian roads. The new Audi Q2 is more youthful than the sibling Q3 and is aiming at far younger demographic than the latter. Audi has unveiled its Q2 Compact SUV at the ongoing 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The compact SUV is expected to eventually make its way to India and will be a loner in the segment, while filling in a spot just below the Q3 for the Audi’s India portfolio.
