All new Toyota Corolla Altis to be launched on 16th June

Latest reports from Indian automobile market indicates that Japanese car maker is all set for release its much awaited re-touched version of Toyota Corolla Altis on 16th, June 2011. As per official communication with CarDekho, the gala event will be organized at 11:15 am at the Grand Hotel, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi.

Earlier reports were floating that due to March 11th devastation in Japan and earthquake followed by Tsunami, Toyota Motors had to stop the production owing to the shortage of short of parts and as a result, the launching of new Toyota Corolla Altis was delayed. But with sheer hard work and keeping deadlines as priority, Toyota Motors stayed on time and will now launch the car right on schedule. Besides, new Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Motors is also planning for the launch of Toyota Etios Liva which was also scheduled for launch in June. As per reports, Toyota Motors has almost regained the production level and will now release the Toyota Etios Liva soon in the Indian market.

The new Toyota Corolla Altis will be launched with complete facelift which include the new headlights, a revamped LED tail lamp, chrome lining at the top of the front and rear number plate besides plus new air dam and stylish bumpers. Further reports suggest that company will launch both petrol and diesel variants with somewhat different front look. It is expected that Toyota is going to place a new mesh grille in the new Toyota Corolla Altis diesel.

However, with new Toyota Corolla Altis adorning a complete makeover on the outside, company is also changing the interiors to make it more comfortable compared to its earlier version. As per sources, the car will be affixed with LED touch-screen with Bluetooth, Aux and USB connectivity. Furthermore, car will also come added with a keyless entry & with a start stop function.Although the Toyota Corolla Altis price is yet to be disclosed by the company, speculations suggest that car is expected to stay above the earlier version of Toyota Corolla Altis.
