2025 Tata Harrier EV Is Now On Display At Dealerships

Keep aside images and video clips, as the Tata Harrier EV has now started reaching dealerships. Bookings for the flagship electric SUV are also underway. The Harrier EV, by all means, stole the show with its impressive performance capabilities, a rich list of features, and a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. Ever since bookings began on July 2, the flagship EV from Tata has already garnered over 10,000 bookings.

If you’re curious and still wondering what makes the electric Harrier special, here’s everything you need to know:

Design

The Tata Harrier EV sticks pretty close to the design of its diesel-powered sibling, and carries forward familiar elements like the connected LED DRLs and  LED headlights. But it boasts  EV-specific touches with details like a closed-off grille and silver vertical slats on the front bumper that give it a tougher look.

From the side, you’ll notice a fresh set of 19-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic covers, along with “.ev” badges on the front doors instead of the usual Harrier branding. Other than that, it keeps the same rugged side profile, with black ORVMs and thick body cladding around the doors and wheel arches.

At the back, too, the EV stays true to the regular Harrier’s styling. You still get those sharp connected LED tail lights, a sporty roof spoiler, and even the rear wiper setup. The rear skid plate now features vertical slats to match the design on the front bumper. 

Interior And Features

Step inside the Tata Harrier EV, and you're greeted with a clean and modern dashboard, thanks to a fresh white and grey theme, similar to what we see in the Tata Curvv EV and Tata Nexon EV. It gives the interior a brighter and more upmarket feel.

It comes with a sleek 4-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo and a crisp 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Taking centre stage is a new 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that uses a Samsung QLED panel for sharper visuals and smoother touch response.

The centre console is neatly designed, housing a drive selector stalk, twin cupholders, an electronic parking brake toggle, a rotary terrain mode dial, and a wide centre armrest. The seats are wrapped in grey leatherette upholstery, adding to the premium appeal of the cabin.

Other key features include powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone auto AC with rear vents, a panoramic sunroof, multi-colour ambient lighting, and even a boss mode for the front passenger seat. You also get a wireless phone charger and a 10-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, besides the new dual-screen layout.

Being an EV, it gets tech like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging. Other highlights include off-road assist, a transparent view with the 360-degree camera, boost mode, and terrain-specific drive modes like rock crawl and mud ruts.

In terms of safety, it’s well-equipped with seven airbags (six as standard), a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and an electronic parking brake with auto hold and Level 2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). Notably, the Tata Harrier EV has secured a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP for both Adult and Child Occupant Protection.

Powertrain Options

The Tata Harrier EV offers two battery pack options, with the larger one available with an optional dual-motor setup for added performance and all-wheel drive.

Price & Rivals

The Tata Harrier EV is priced from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 30.23 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). It rivals the Mahindra XEV 9e and BYD Atto 3 in the electric SUV space.
