The Maruti Grand Vitara received its MY25 (model year 2025) update in April 2025, but it did not receive the CNG option that was on offer earlier. Now, the carmaker has introduced the CNG option with the MY2025 Grand Vitara, based on the mid-spec Delta and Zeta variants, prices of which start from Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Let us take a look at the detailed prices of the 2025 Grand Vitara CNG:

As mentioned in the table, the CNG option produces 15 PS and 15.5 Nm less than the naturally aspirated petrol engine, and is available only with the manual gearbox.

Notably, you can have the Maruti Grand Vitara with a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine that produces a combined output of 116 PS and 141 Nm.

Features And Safety

The Grand Vitara CNG gets the same feature suite that the mid-spec Delta and Zeta trims have to offer. Hence, it is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 6-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, auto AC with rear vents, wireless phone charger, cruise control and electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto fold function.

Its safety net consists of 6 airbags, a rear parking camera with sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and an auto-dimming inside rearview mirror (IRVM).

However, it misses out on amenities like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, powered driver’s seat and heads up display (HUD), all of which are offered in the higher variants which do not get a CNG option.

Rivals

The Maruti Grand Vitara CNG is the only car in the compact SUV segment to get a CNG option currently. Its other variants rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
