A detailed gallery to take you through the new Figo and its features
Ford has launched the new Figo facelift with prices ranging between Rs 5.15 lakh to Rs 8.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 2019 model gets mild cosmetic updates, feature updates and a new set of petrol engines.
Here’s a detailed look at the 2019 Figo, seen in its new top-spec Titanium Blu variant, from multiple angles to explore what all is new.
Ford has fitted the new Figo with slightly tweaked headlamps, a revised bumper and a glossy black mesh front grille.
The fog lamp housings get blue-coloured bezels in the new front bumper.
The Titanium Blu variant of the Ford Figo sports new blue and black decals along the side and just above the side skirts.
The Titanium Blu variant of the refreshed hatchback gets 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Only the Sports Edition of the pre-facelift version offered alloy wheels of the same size.
Around the back, the new Figo gets a revised rear bumper with more black cladding and decals for the Titanium Blu variant.
The indented black cladding on the rear bumper houses the number plate.
The new Figo now gets rear-parking sensors as standard.
The Figo gets indicators mounted on the ORVMs with black side mouldings on the front fenders.
While the tail lamp assembly remains the same, the internals have been reworked and are similar to the ones seen on the Freestyle.
In the Titanium Blu variant, the Figo gets blue accents on the door handles.
The top-spec variant of the Figo also gets an all-black interior with blue contrast stitching on the upholstery.
The front seats also have the “Blu” emblem embossed into the backrest.
The rear seats also get adjustable headrests.
The Figo’s steering wheel gets audio and telephone controls on the left side.
It now gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the central dock flanked by AC vents. It also has a new layout for the button controls for the media system.
In the 2019 Figo, auto AC is offered from the mid-spec Titanium variant onwards.
Ford offers the 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel unit with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The centre console has plenty of storage spaces and cup holders too.
Controls for the multi-info display (MID) are mounted on the indicator stalk on the right of the steering wheel.
Figo comes with 6-speed intermittent wipers as well as rain-sensing wipers in the top-spec variant.
The headlight controls, as well as the boot release button, are to the right of the steering wheel. It offers auto headlamps in the top-spec Titanium Blu variant.
The Figo now gets push-button start-stop on Titanium and Titanium Blu variants.
There are three engines on offer - 1.2-litre petrol with 5-speed manual (96PS/120Nm), 1.5-litre petrol with 6-speed AT (123PS/150Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel with 5-speed manual (100PS/215Nm).
The first drive review for the new Ford Figo will be up on CarDekho shortly, so stay tuned.
