Modified On Jul 20, 2018 03:00 PM By Dhruv Attri for Maruti Vitara Brezza 2016-2020

Two of the best-selling sub-4m SUVs recently received the convenience of a cost-effective AMT. Here's how they stack up against each other

Vitara Brezza AMT vs Nexon AMT

Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors had both launched the AMT-equipped (automated manual transmission) variants of their sub-4m SUVs some time ago. The Vitara Brezza AMT is available in all variants except the base-spec, while Tata offers the Nexon AMT in two variants, the mid-spec XMA and the range-topping XZA+.

While the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is only available with a 1.3-litre diesel engine, the Nexon also gets a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol alongside the 1.5-litre diesel. Moreover, the Nexon gets an AMT option with the petrol engine as well.
