2014 Jaguar XFR-S Unveiled at LA Auto Show
The Jaguar XFR-S has been unveiled for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show by Global Brand Director, Adrian Hallmark. According to Jaguar, this is the fastest, most powerful and agile sports saloon Jaguar has to offer till date. Scheduled to go on sale by May, 2013, the XFR-S is priced at 79,995 pounds (Rs. 70.58 lakh).

The Jaguar XFR-S will house a 5.0-litre V8 configuration, supercharged engine that cranks out 542bhp all of which is transmitted to the drive via means of an 8-speed Quickshift transmission. The power output in the XFR-S has increased by 40hp as compared to the current XFR. 0-100 mark is reached in 4.4 seconds with the top speed being an electronically limited 300kmph.
On unveiling the car Adrian Hallmark commented: “Sporting character is evident in all Jaguar saloons. In the XFR-S that character has been amplified, the result being a truly engaging car with a combination of technical innovation, assertive design and staggering performance that will satisfy the most demanding of drivers.”
