2013 Honda Civic Revealed; Any Chance of Civic Diesel for India?
It was a sad moment when we heard that the Honda Civic would be discontinued and no longer sold in India. Things became downright disappointing when it was apparent that there would be no replacement for it. However there is a little something Honda has given its fans to look forward to; and that is the 2013 Honda Civic sedan. The images of the Hodna Civic 2013 have been released before its official launch at the Los Angeles Auto Show slated for the 29th of November. Honda plans to put the car up for sale on the very same day.

Now Honda has still not mentioned or hinted at the Civic’s future in India and there seems to be no reason to think they might bring it to the country anytime soon. In addition to that, Honda already has its hands full with the Brio based Honda Amaze sedan. Seeing as the Honda Amaze will be Honda’s first diesel powered vehicle in the country, we can say they have finally set down on the right path to developing themselves in India.
The question however does remain; is there any chance of the 2013 Civic coming to India? We can only hope for that seeing as a diesel based Civic would be wonders for Honda’s sales figures in India. Fingers crossed!
