Toyota Urban Cruiser Expected Prices: Could It Undercut Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue And Mahindra XUV300?

The sub-4m SUV space is snowballing into the most populous segment in India. There are more choices in the sub-4m SUV space than the entry-level segment featuring the likes of the Maruti Alto. That means the Maruti Vitara Brezza-based Toyota Urban Cruiser has its task cut out and one way to establish customer connect is competitive pricing. Will the Urban Cruiser deliver to that effect?

The Toyota Urban Cruiser might be identical to the Maruti Vitara Brezza in terms of mechanicals, interiors and features, but will feature a different fascia. Besides, it will also offer an additional warranty of 3-year/1 lakh km, instead of the 2-year/40,000km promise by Maruti. These differences are likely to make the Urban Cruiser a bit pricier than the Vitara Brezza in the higher variants.

The Toyota SUV will compete against a formidable lineup of existing rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue and Ford EcoSport.
