Tata Motors came up with the brand new Tata Safari Strome SUV at the 11th Auto Expo in New Delhi in January 2012. This new SUV is the face-lifted version of the present Tata Safari model. The official launch date hasn’t been decided by the firm as yet but it will soon be launched in India and Tata Safari Storme will be sold alongside the current Tata safari model. The new Tata Safari Storme SUV has undergone variety of changes and also sports enhanced features. Starting with front end of the SUV, the car comes with freshly stylized headlights, new bumper design and refreshed grille. The projector headlamps are flawless in every way.

On the inside, the company has used high quality upholstery for the seats inside which makes it much more comfortable and chic.The fresh dashboard with a brand new centre console further adds more charm to the interiors of the SUV. To enhance the gear shifts, the new Tata Safari Storme SUV comes with G76 MKII gearbox and the shortened X2 chassis has been taken from Tata Aria Crossover. The suspension is new and comes with double wishbones, which has been again taken from Tata Aria. Another thing borrowed by Aria is the new steering that has reduced the turning radius to a great extent.

The disc brakes are responsive and the new body cladding with a wider foot step makes the Tata Safari Storme SUV further close to perfect. On the rear end, tailgate is fresh and the tail lamp design has also been refreshed. A spare tyre space has been now provided in the boot. Therefore, Tata Motors have seemed to work very hard on the new Tata Safari Storme SUV and the long list of features has further made it more appealing and attractive then the current Tata Safari. However, it is still to be decided as to whether these new features and makeover is sufficient for Tata Safari Storme to make its way to the top.The upgraded SUV will give a tough competition to Mahindra XUV 500 and Mahindra Scorpio, which are counted amongst the most appreciated SUVs in the country.
