Hyundai to be Official Car Partner of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), the largest exporter and second largest car manufacturer in India, today announced that HMIL will be the official car partner for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. Hyundai will also be the official car partner for the International Cricket Council (ICC) from 2011 to 2015, with exclusive category rights.

The country's second largest car makers and the biggest exporter Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), today made an official announcement declaring the company to be the official car partner for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. For the period 2011 to 2015, Hyundai will also be the official car partner for the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Addressing the occasion, H W Park who is the MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited commented that the company officials are delighted to make the big announcement of collaboration with International Cricket Council, which a big name in the world of sports and the company is certainly proud be a part of this event. He stressed on ground transportation as an essential step to organize an international event like the ICC Cricket World Cup. He said that this essential part will be handled well by the company where the players will get the best and most luxurious mode of transport. He assured the company's commitment towards the great event.
As per the accord, players ICC officials and VIP guests will be offered the Hyundai car models which will be used as the mode of transportation for official purposes. The accord will last for the entire period and stretched up to year 2015. Hyundai Motors will also shine as the transport partner in the Women’s World Cup and the T20 championship.
Among the car models to be used in the transport purpose include Hyundai i10, Hyundai Santa Fe, the stunning Hyundai Verna Transform and the international favorite, the Hyundai Sonata Transform.
