Ford EcoSport Titanium Caught Doing Test Runs in Chennai
Chennai has recently witnessed the Titanium version of the upcoming SUV, Ford Ecosport, it was found doing test runs on the roads of Chennai. This has made us believe that Ford is not in mood to let Renault gain the competitive advantage with the launch of its much awaited SUV, the Duster. As we recently reported that Renault India is planning to bring in the Duster to India on july 4th and has started taking the pre-orders too, so Ford too is looking eager to launch its SUV even before it was planned.

This uncamouflaged version seems to be the top variant that have the Titanium badging along with the reverse parking sensors. Moreover, this is expected to be powered with the award winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost, inline-three engine, which has just won the 'Best New Engine of the Year' title from the Engine Tehnology International magazine.
This turbo petrol engine is competent of churning out 125bhp, and about 200Nm of peak torque, which not only proves it to be a powerful performer but the fuel efficient as well. The Ford EcoSport was said to be launching in India in the first quarter of 2013, but now we can expect it to come within this year itself.
