Ford EcoSport Likely to Launch by June end

While everybody is eagerly waiting for Ford EcoSport to launch in India soon, Ford is keeping its focus on branding and promotion, and then launching the product by June-end. Ford has recently announced the launch of a campaign for the SUV from may. Under the campaign, the company will select 100 customers who would get the opportunity to drive the vehicle before its launch and then share their experiences.

After launching an interactive campaign 'urban discoveries', Ford has come with the new 12 city roadshow initiative to make sure that the vehicle is advertised well before the launch. The campaign will be held in 12 cities starting with Mumbai and Delhi. Ford has also started EcoSport Urban Hub to engage people, where people will get to see, touch and feel the compact SUV.

At the EcoSport Urban Hub launch Joginder Singh, president and managing director- Ford India said, “We are excited to go live with our game changer EcoSport at the EcoSport Urban Hub as we bring our urban SUV closer to our consumers. We have taken a step further by giving them an opportunity to drive and experience the EcoSport out in the open and share their product experience with their family and friends. With this experiential drive commencing in May we will go further in meeting their aspirations.”

And like we informed you earlier, the EcoSport line-up will have four trims, with three engine options- a 1.0-litre EcoBoost, 1.5-litre Petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines are the same, which also power the company's flagship sedan- Fiesta, while the 1.0-litre EcoBoost is the company's new innovation, which has won several international awards.
