Ford EcoSport for European Market Unveiled

It was supposed to be a silent and a relaxed Saturday but alas! short lived the happy hour, with the inbox flooding with mails and phone ringing away to glory and the day starts with the information coming in straight from world across as Ford revealed their mini SUV EcoSport at the Go Further event, held at Amsterdam. The European markets will see the Ford EcoSport within next 18 months.

Coming to the car, the EcoSport is built on the B3 platform of Ford that the Fiesta is based on. The European model will be the 1-litre EcoBoost which is the ‘Best New Engine of the Year’ from the Engine Technology International magazine, 2012. "Go Further" and check out the all new video of the EcoSport.

Time and again, the sub 4-meter Ford compact SUV has been caught several times on camera while doing test runs in India. And as already established in previous reviews, the EcoSport will be one of the strongest bet for Ford in the Indian market. The design, fuel efficiency and the much celebrated EcoBoost engine will play a major role in establishing the SUV in India. The turbo petrol engine will be capable of delivering 125bhp of power.

Ford Motors have also confirmed that they will be bringing in the next generation Mustang in Europe, which is said to drive in somewhere in 2015.
