Toyota introduced Etios Cross at the Delhi Motor Show

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has finally unveiled the much-anticipated Etios Cross at the 2014 Auto Expo. First unveiled in Brazil, the Etios Cross will come in both petrol and diesel guise. The four-wheeler is slightly larger than the Liva hatchback, however it has the same ground clearance and mechanics. 

The Etios Cross measures 3895mm in length, 1735mm in width and 1555mm in height, which is around 110mm larger, 40mm wider and 45mm taller than the Etios Liva hatchback. The car's roof rails are the major reason behind the increase in the height of the car. It has a 170mm of ground clearance and 2,460mm of wheelbase. 

The Etios Cross comes equipped with a new set of 15-inches 10-spoke alloy wheels, black and silver cladding, larger bars on the roof rails, rear spoiler, an integrated bumper guard a front and a new fog lamps housing.

Inside the cabin, it sports black coloured dashboard with chrome inserts, adjustable headrests, black seat fabric and others. On safety front, the Etios Cross features twin airbags and Anti-Lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic BrakeForce Distribution (EBD). 

Under the hood, the Etios Cross gets the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre petrol. The petrol mill churns out a maximum power output of 79bhp with 104Nm and 89bhp with 132Nm of peak torque respectively. The oil burner mill is a 1.4 Litre D-4D which produces 67bhp of power and 170Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
