Toyota displays Mirai at Auto Expo 2016

Toyota, the Japanese automaker, has revealed its new hydrogen powered Mirai at the ongoing Auto Expo, being held at Greater Noida. In Japanese, 'Mirai' stands for future and this new vehicle is without any doubt a futuristic car. The car is termed futuristic, as it utilises Hydrogen, which is a futuristic source of energy.

Toyota Mirai is manufactured keeping in mind the craving for advanced features. The car sports LED daytime running lights as well as LED indicator lights, huge air intake sections and 17-inch wheels. When it boils down to interiors, Toyota Mirai is loaded with advanced features which include - a 4.2 inch HD TFT LED display, touch sensitive navigation, 7-inch Toyota touch along with multimedia and 11 speakers from JBL audio. The steering wheel is multi-functional with control switches mounted on it, dual zone air conditioning unit and much more.

For better safety, this futuristic car is loaded with various features such as Traction Control, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Brake Assist, Pre-Collision System and Eight airbags. Mirai also gets Anti-lock braking system and Dynamic radar cruise control.

Mechanically, the car produces combined power output of 152bhp. Mirai is a hydrogen fueled car, which has the gas stored in reinforced tanks and that gets fused with oxygen to produce electricity - which in turn powers the motor and moves the car.
