The E-Class facelift LWB spotted in China

A Chinese website called auto.sohu has spotted the long wheelbase E-Class, without any camouflage prior to its unveiling at the upcoming Shanghai Motor Show. China is the only market that gets the long wheelbase E-Class, and this will be one of the models that will accelerate Mercedes-Benz’s sales growth.

Mercedes Benz E Class

The changes on the E-Class include new Avantgarde front grille, while one single unit replaces the twin parallelogram headlamp. This new headlamps have LED cluster that somewhat resemble the previous layout. The front bumpers have been redesigned to match the styling of this new headlamp. Even the tail lamp design has been revised with some tweaks to the layout.

Beginning from this E-Class, most of the Mercedes-Benz fascia will be a similar family look. So far, the company had kept itself distinct from competition, but now they seem to be heading in the similar direction. The website Auto Sohu states that the Stuttgart-based manufacturer will also introduce the AMG body kit E-Class in the Chinese market. The E-Class facelift is India-bound sometime around the festive season. The engine options will be the same.
