The Tigor EV, which looks nearly identical to the standard model, packs a 40PS (30kW) electric motor making 105Nm of torque. It has a range of just over 140km as per the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC) and its top speed is limited to 80kmph. Charging from a standard AC socket will take around 6 hours, while DC fast charging will take nearly 90 mins for the battery levels to go from 0 to 80 per cent. Both variants have pretty much the same equipment, save for the alloy wheels and electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors. It comes with a non-touch display and a Bluetooth-enabled sound system seen on the equivalent variants of the standard Tigor. The top-spec XZ+ variant of the standard Tigor, however, packs a 7-inch touchscreen with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. On the other hand, the Tigor EV comes with auto climate control, whereas the standard Tigor only offers it in the top-spec XZ+. Safety features like dual front airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors are standard.
