Tata Nano Short Film Competition Winners Announced
The Tata Nano Short Film competition was launched on June 5, 2012, and received an overwhelming response of 132 entries. Participants presented an interesting five-minute short film concept. Eleven best creative ideas were shortlisted and the teams were given a Tata Nano for executing their ideas. Teams were also provided with additional support from professional studios for editing the films. Tata Nano, in association with an esteemed panel of judges, shortlisted the top five contenders for the ‘Nano Short Film Contest’.

The five films, namely, Jhadav Pahije Ka (by Mr. Akash Motiani), Sweetie te Rajjo (by Mr. Udit Jawarani), Mr. & Mrs. Singh (by Mr. Akshat Gupt), Wish (by Mr. Shivendu Kudalkar), Mumbai’s Risky Rick (by Mr. Saurav Sharma), were posted on YouTube for viewers. The two most popular films, Mr. & Mrs. Singh and ‘Mumbai’s Risky Rick’ have bagged maximum views on YouTube.
From being one of the most popular automobile Facebook page, with over 2 million fans, to launching the Nano merchandise online store on Ebay, to coming up with a unique Social Road Trip with MTV, Tata Nano is resonating with what the youth today participates in.
