Tata eyes to penetrate rural market to rev up sales

Well known utility vehicle and passenger car manufacturer, Tata Motors has made an official announcement that the company will now amplify its presence in the rural and semi-urban parts of India. This is a step to rev up its sales volumes by targeting the consumers. Tata Motors is currently venturing into these areas to boost the sales volumes of its small car, Tata Nano. The firm had a roller coaster ride since the time it launched Tata Nano into the Indian car market. It came with the most attractive tagline, ‘World’s Cheapest Car’, but failed to charm the consumers.
