Skoda unveils the Octavia

Skoda has unveiled the new Octavia in India today. This new generation is the bigger in dimensions when compared to the currently sold Laura. The new Skoda Octavia will be available since this festive season. The Octavia gets the new Skoda logo that will be seen on the upcoming models of Skoda.

Skoda has unveiled the new Octavia in India today. This new generation is the bigger in dimensions when compared to the currently sold Laura.

The new Skoda Octavia will be available since this festive season. The Octavia gets the new Skoda logo that will be seen on the upcoming models of Skoda.

This design is based on the Mission L that the company had showcased globally at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Octavia has new design language and is the first Skoda to get daytime running LEDs.

The new Octavia is 4659mm long and has a wheelbase of 2686mm, about 108mm longer. The rear still has the same C-shaped tail lamps. The interior styling is also absolutely new.

The company gas plans to introduce an upgrade to the Superb too. The other models from Skoda will also get the new Skoda logo in the coming months.
