Next Gen Chevrolet Beat Interior Spied in Korea
Spied images of Chevrolet Beat also known as Spark in Korea have recently surfaced on world wide web. The first interior shot of 2016 Chevrolet Spark depicts car getting dual-tone dashboard, touch screen infotainment system and bowtie styled steering wheel. The all-new Spark will be displayed at the upcoming New York and Seoul Motor Show.
The car also gets motorcycle-inspired instrument panel with flowing "V" dashboard design and newly designed aircon vents. The instrument cluster features speedometer dial in center with tachometer on left. The gear knob gets an orange base which gives an impression that the designers at Chevrolet are experimenting with the interiors.
While yesterday in country, our correspondent in Bengaluru spotted Chevrolet Spin MPV testing under complete camouflage. The automaker has already announced that it will launch the Trailblazer SUV in 2015 and the Spin MPV in 2016. Since Chevrolet has failed to churn some serious numbers with Enjoy MPV in the market, Chevrolet Spin, upon launch, could be replacing Enjoy or will be launched as a more premium offering.
Chevy Spin is already on sale in Brazil and Asian markets, housing 1.2-litre and a 1.5-litre petrol while the diesel version comes with a 1.3-litre unit. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed auto. While we can surely expect the 1.3-litre diesel engine to be launched in India, we have to wait and see which petrol unit is for us.
