New facelifted Skoda Laura hits Indian roads
After the overwhelming response of its Laura in India, Skoda India rolled out new facelifted Laura in the country. The refurbished model will be available with 3-engine variants- one petrol and two diesel variants. The petrol variant includes 1.8L TSi turbocharged engine with 160 bhp & 250 Nm of the torque (first introduced in newly unveiled Skoda Superb).

The diesel variants includes 1.9L TDi & 2L 16-valve, four cylinder, DOHC Pump Duse engine with 140 bhp and 320 Nm of the torque. The petrol variant comes with six speed manual transmission while the diesel variants come with either five speed MT or optional six-speed DSG with a Tiptronic manual gear variation. There are a number of new features in the new version. It is offered with a twelve-way electrically flexible driver seat with the memory function, the heated front seat, entertainment system controlled via 6.5” TFT touch screen with integrated six CD changer and 12 speakers, the Audio controls on steering wheel, double zone climate manage, flexible rear AC vents, the leather upholstery, a retractable rear windscreen, electrically foldable exterior mirrors.
