Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 unveiled; Rohit Bal adds glamour

The much awaited Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 gets unveiled in New Delhi by Vijay Kumar, executive vice-president and SBU Head Hindustan Motors. Adding to the dazzle of Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 launch function was India's leading fashion designer Rohit Bal. The car is famous for business purposes and used for leisure driving purposes as well. Outlander 2010 would be available in a fine range of impressive colors including Catwalk Silver, Haute Red, Chic Black, Cool Aqua Metallic, Vogue White, Shimmering Ash, Runway Grey, Primavera Purple and Glitterati Green.

Outlander is a popular vehicle worldwide and this new version is launched in India based on the customer feedback, said by Y.V.S Vijay Kumar. In the price the car comes with, it offers great performance, elegant looking interiors and exteriors and all that provides complete value for money to buyers. The launch seems to be perfectly timed by the company as the auto market in India has been responding quite well in the past few months.


The essential changes and additions made in the car include bulged rear bumper, silver-color roof rails, jet-fighter front grill and HID Head Lamp with AFS function. Outlander 2010 would provide a cut-above handling in all driving conditions as it would come equipped with a All Wheel Control system. Also, based on the driving condition one is driving in, Outlander 2010 allows three driving modes viz. (2WD, 4WD Auto and 4WD Locked). Other safety features in the car include Anti-lock braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and evenly distributed braking force. 

The revamped interiors in beige colored leather makes the vehicle look extremely stylish and classy. Other changes in the interiors include upper glove box, leather-wrapped door trims and instrument panels, the AC control panel knob with chrome ring and high-contract meter combination. There would be an enhanced sound system that would have 9 speakers in 7 positions. Additional features like Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS), mirror mounted turn indicators, new door and dash trims, USB port, grille with chrome accents, new front bumpers, redesigned front fenders, AUX-IN port, aluminum pedals, new combination meter and auto-folding Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs), leather covered instrument panel, roof rails etc. have been intelligently added.

The presence of Rohit Bat at this car launch was understandable as there was a Outlander Signature Collection, fashion show right ater the launch ceremony. It seems that all Auto mobile makers are focussing on youth as the new stunning looks of Outlander 2010 embodies the spirit Hindustan Motors is focusing on. The product range of Mitsubishi in India apart from Outlander includes Mitsubishi Cedia Sports,  Mitsubishi Montero, Mitsubishi Pajero and Mitsubishi Lancer.
